Happy New Year!!!!

Welcome 2009!!!!

I wonder what we were doing this day 20 years ago???? On a bus? In class? Lunch? Lockerroom playing cards???? Snow Day????

This weekend is the 2nd Annual Eric Hutchinson Memorial Hockey Tournament. Last year, a large number of our classmates were at the Stables to show support for Paul and the Hutchinson family. I know many plan to attend this year too....weather permitting. Last year, Tommie Atkins played in the alumni hockey game with many others. I hadn't seen him in years! He is great!!!---and I got to meet his wife as well..and she was very nice. They live in the Albany area. Who knows who will show up this year? I know Mark Doheny would have liked to be here but he recently moved to Houston, Texas with his wife Jill, and daughter Kailyn for a new job with his company. Perhaps some of the other Purple Ghosts will show up to play in the OLD TIMER.....OVER 35.....ughhhhhh.......game which is at 3:30 on Saturday. Can you believe we are in the OLD TIMER category?????

Anyway, I know there will be a good showing. The organizers of this weekend do an outstanding job. I plan to be there by 3:30 and I know Kim and Selena will be there as well. If you are not busy......come on up for a beer and some laughs. We can put some more ideas together for July 25th!

I'm trying to figure out how to put a shout page on this blog. Hopefully soon.......I will also be emailing Chris Williams to see if he would be willing to post the blogspot on Abay.com for others in our class to find it....get the word out.

For whomever reads this......I hope your 2009 is GREAT!!!!!!!!! Oh.......and Happy 38th BDay to Sheri and Kim! Sheri's bday was December 31st....I have it on good sources that she was out on the town in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Jay...and they celebrated her bday and the new year in an 80's Bar!!!!! lol.......Pour some sugar on Me!!!!!!

Also.....if you see Kim "Sprout" Schug this weekend, buy her a bday beer. Her 38th is Friday the 9th! We can all sing her Happy BDay at the Stables!
