Hi....
It's fun to be around little kids again at this point who believe in Santa. It really does make the holidays a little more magical in some ways. My sister, Heidi, married Brian Edgar and they have 4 children.....3 girls and one boy....thank god for Brian!...: Taylor-7, Blake-5, and the twins Lucas and Lauren-2 1/2. So they ALL get it! ---And Needle Nose and Sharp Eyes took their letters from Santa off of the tree this past week. Blake saw Needle Nose----apparently he has a blue eye! ---and wears bells because Taylor heard him jingling. She even could tell me where she thinks the bells were on his elf outfit: on the points of his top and on the toes of his boots. LOL~
I know Ann Marie has 4 children as well......your house must be just jamming! Cheryl has 4 too.....I'm not sure if we have any classmates who have MORE than 4.
To all of you Santa's Helpers out there! ---- God Bless! Hope you have been as busy as Needle Nose and Sharp Eyes....you only really have 11 nights left! I hope it all comes together for you.

Winter Wonderland & Nostalgia
Hi!
Sorry it's been a little bit since a posting: Thanksgiving, the flu...I need to start taking vitamins, and parent conferences....
Anyway, this morning when I woke up it was really pretty outside! We got a couple of inches of snow at some point after 3am. I wish I could say I know this because I was out partying like a rock star, but in reality, I had to let the pups out.
It's nice to see some people have been checking out the site. Ann Marie, I chuckled when I read your memory: Nana Reed and "Tea Time"....for bad papers. Shamefully, I think I have invited some of my students for "Tea" after school. We should make sure we put that on her invitation when we invite faculty. She'll love it! As I recall, she was our speaker at our graduation as well.
Ann Marie made me think of the time that Shawn popped an umbrella in Mr. Sayyeau's french class because he sat in the front and sometimes got the brunt of "Repitez, Ecoutez, Sivouz Plait!" (I don't remember my conjugations, sorry.) That was funny!!!! I think Mr. Sayyeau laughed at his audacity too.
I also remember when Chris Bain brought in a remote to Ed Cali's class when we were still watching the Christmas Carol in April. Every time Mr. Cali turned on the vcr....Chris screwed with him. --What a "pisser"! This went on for a while and Mr. Cali always thought his vcr was screwed up.-----How technololgy has changed since then. Good thing we all had our knuckles cracked by Mr. Cullen during typing class to prepare us for the eworld!
Well...enough for now, I have to internet Christmas Shop! I hope everyone is enjoying their Holiday Season wherever they may be.
John Hunter----glad you are here in the US and not deployed overseas at this time! Your daughter, Amanda, did a kick butt job in the Geo Bee before Thanksgiving. She is one of 10 finalists out of the whole Middle School....over 270 kids sixth through eighth grade. Suzy and I were also pleased to see her win the 7th grade citizenship award last month.
Anymore memories???? Post them for us to remember too......

Hello???
Hi!
It's REALLY cold here!!! Anyway, SHERI....thank you for commenting on the blog. I also got your text but haven't figured out how to write the HTML language to slow those names down or change the color yet. I agree it is kind of speedy and hard to read if you are at the wrong angle.
Kim...the 2nd Hutchy tourney is after the Holidays....you were right. I belive it is the first weekend back after school resumes. Is that a conflict to get people together to meet? I liked your idea of making plans over some beers...good idea!!!!!!! I don't think it is the same weekend as the one you told me you were tied up...but not sure.
The rest of you out there.....if you set up a google account...quick and very easy....you can respond to the blogs. This is written on blogspot, but google accounts work with it. It only takes a moment so I better hear from some of you!!!!! Otherwise this gets boring! I see 8 people have voted on how many kids they have. I know these people are aware of the blog: Kim, Suzy, Cheryl, Shani, Paul, Selena, Mark, Cindy, Liane.........and spread the word until I get something out on it. Thank you!!!!!!
Give me some ideas for some other posts...for memory lane.....or polls. I know Kim wants one to keep track of numbers and who is coming. That's a good idea...I need to find a practical way to put that in here some how...I'm researching that.
Ok.....I have to get some things accomplished today!!!
More later....as Sheri likes to say. :-) BRRRRRRRR Mark in Houston and Sheri in Atlanta....you bite! jk

20th Class Reunion 2009
Hi Everyone!
I've been working on this blogspot for us to all be able to communicate about our upcoming 20th class reunion. You are my guinea pigs!--I've never done this before. This might be a good way for us all to keep in touch and get updated with one another in the meantime. "Weeee Hawwww!!!!", as my niece Blake would say.
A few rules about this:
1. Don't pick on anyone's spelling or writing...especially mine.
2. Please spread the word and help the more technologically challenged get connected.
3. Keep it clean....HA! HA!....just kidding! -Considering the audience.
With that said.... a handful of us living near each other in the Bay area or people visiting home have been chatting since August and doing some investigating about when and where our reunion will be. Let's see, I've talked to Suzy, of course. We work together on the same teaching team at TI...can you believe that? I've also talked to Paul Hutchy's wife, Melissa, and yes of course Paul. Melissa works with Suzy and I on the same teaching team. I've talked with Kim "Sprout", Cheryl, Cindy Felicia, Liane W. Knapp, Mark Calhoun, my neighbor, the newleywed and new daddy Mark Doheny, Sheri in Atlanta, and Selena and Shani living in Clayton!---who would have thunk it! Generally---we have all tried collaborating here and there when we've had the time. Busy! Busy!
So funny that Ann Marie Hunter, Paul, Mark Calhoun and I, all live within a block from each other! Jeesh......we could have had a block party reunion!
Considering location, exclusivity, cost, entertainment, travel, weather, food, scenery...etc....and basically knowing that our class is happiest together "socializing" (however you define that these days)....this is what we have come up with:
July 25th, 2009----Saturday
11-2 at the Picnic at the Pavilion----Bring a cooler and the whole family!
7-11pm at the American Legion---Adult playtime!
At the Legion, there will be a band, hordeourves from Cavallario's, and general nonsense and goodtimes. Mr. Brownstone??? jk
Oh and right now, we are thinking $25 per person will cover the costs: Legion Donation, Band, Cav's, invites, advertisements, decorations, reunion momento...etc.
So...I guess this is all for now. If I knew how you could leave a comment, I would explain it...but I don't... so good luck. Hopefully, you are better at this than I. As I learn, I will make improvements.
Hope to hear from all of you crazy people and how life is treating you 20 years later!
